Monday, 10:20 am: More melting snow and lots of soggy ground; it must be spring! While doing a little spring cleaning, I found my old teacher clothes: You know; ties, cardigan sweaters and assorted bureaucratic threads. I can reassure the reader, I don't wear that stuff anymore, not even my polyester-blend pants. By the way, they still fit. How cool is that? Now if I can just find my old red marking pen, and my erasable seating chart.
Big honkers on break in a farm field in Caribou
We had our studded snow tires swapped over for newly purchased summer all-season [summer] tires last week. What a big difference in noise reduction. I keep forgetting the "U" in SUV really means utility, which doesn't necessarily mean a quiet ride, especially with metal studs hitting the pavement at 50 mph. I better be careful; in a year I'll 60 and anything over 50 mph will be harrowing. I better start practicing and tint my hair blue.
