Monday, 7:50 am: What started out as rain last night, turned into today's spring snow storm. Ruth was out with a ruler earlier trying to measure the snowfall amount. Our snow stake is caked with ice and snow, so we can't read it. The last few days have been very warm: Well warm for here. Yesterday, and the day before, it was into the low 50s [F.].
This morning's snow
If I am lucky today I can upload a few photos I shot this morning to show - it really is snowing. My last blog I wrote took forever to upload, ca. an hour plus. On this end my connection is okay. On their end, their server, connection, and computers might be working up to speed. We'll see. If there are accompanying photos with this blog then, I guess, I spoke too soon. Technology is the Achilles' heel of blogging.

We have been putting together a digital picture frame with assorted photos for my mother in Arizona. Most photos are from her visits when we lived in Germany in the 1980s to the 1990s. I am sure there are more than a few tourist types of photos in the mix. We even have one of Ruth in her traditional Bavarian dirndl dress with apron. In the spirit of full disclosure, Ruth is from Berlin, but we did live in Bavaria. Does that count?
