A storm on the way

Saturday, 5:20 pm: After a good walk with our dogs, they are pooped and I am faring well, I suppose. The day has been on and off overcast until this afternoon when it is generally dull outside. At moment the severe weather warnings are far to the south of us, but slowly moving northwards. Tropical Storm Hanna is somewhere out in the Atlantic near the East Coast of the United States. The forecasters at the NWS are busy trying to predict where it will come ashore. I hope our tax dollars were well-spent and all their pricey satellites and computers are working well.
Across the border in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, CBC Radio One said some weekend activities have been canceled anticipating poor weather conditions tomorrow. Anticipating the storm myself I pulled out an assortment of my videos and shelved my books from Barnes and Noble. I need something to generally corrupt and skew my view of, well, generally everything - more than it normally is. Mel Brooks sounds good, or Woody Allen's Bananas (1971). Woody cuts a dapper image as a New Yorker turned unenthusiastic Fidelista or revolutionary of some kind. He isn't Ché Guevara for sure. It is classic Woody Allen and not to be taken too seriously on a rainy Sunday.
It's about time to turn on our radio and tune into Prairie Home Companion live from somewhere here in the lower 48. Ruth say he's in Vermont tonight. Well there you go, she knows what's going on. If you like oldies, here's a good link www.radioharmonie.at in Austria. Meanwhile here's my delayed weather:
