Description: It was cold this morning to be on a bicycle and very wet. From Farmington to Waterville it was a very cold and wet ride. Many of the cyclists decided to take a bus from somewhere along the route because it was so cold and they were so wet.

Description: The barometer rose a little more overnight it dawned sunny and clear although a bit cool. This was a much better day to finish the Trek Across Maine from Waterville to Rockland. My thanks to my wife for keeping the records so I could make this entry.

Description: The weather finally seems to have turned a corner. There was a very heavy dew on the grass, but all indications seem to indicate that today is going to be a great one. I for one am glad to see the end of this very rainy and cool period. If I had to guess I would say that the water table has been replenished and our time of drought is essentially over, but we shall see as the summer progresses.
