Hazy, Hot and Humid Again

This morning I took a hike with a friend up Bald Mountain in Washington Township (between Wilton and Weld). The view from the top showed just how hazy it was today, which was the prelude to the storms that followed. The thunderstorms that have been threatening the area every afternoon have finally gotten their act together. At about 17:00 hours they started with a crash and a bang. The temperature has dropped from its high of 90.5 to under 70 since about 16:00 hours. Now at 20:30 hours it is still raining, but the thunder seems to have dissipated. I will say this, our goats and sheep appeared to be quite pleased that they were allowed to come inside the barn before the rain began.
High Temperature: 90.5
Relative Humidity: 80%
Precipitation: Rain
Amount: 0.25 inches
Barometric Pressure: 29.62 in. Hg
