The promise of the morning has been fulfilled. Although it was warm this morning we did go from a period of overcast to a brief period of sun and clouds to an overcast sky. At around 14:30 this afternoon the showers began. We have already had about 0.2 inches of rain, and I would not be surprised to see more before the end of the evening. The promised cold front has not yet arrived and the weather in a word is steamy. In fact between showers I walked outside and the water vapor was rising off the road. Does it feel like 101 degrees? Yes, it does.
