Sultry End

The clouds that were present this morning have continued to move in, thicken and lower. It has become more oppressive as the day has worn on. There has not been any rain yet, but it would be a surprise if we did not have any before the end of the evening. This is an air mass that has nearly tropical overtones. It is very reminiscent of time I spent in southern Louisiana. Right now a shower would be most welcome to dry the air out and cool things off a bit.
