Today was a very nice day for doing anything that you wanted to do. It was not excessively hot or humid, and there was a pleasant breeze. I had some fairly heavy labor, moving about 3/4 of a ton of grain into my barn for my animals, but I was able to do it without getting overheated.
Everyone was out working in the field today, and it was a little funny. Abby, our 16 year old ewe, was in the field and our other 3 sheep were about a hundred yards away huddled up. Eventually, when they felt safe they came out to the field along with the goats to feast on the browse. They should definitely be ready for winter when it gets here.
