Cool and Moist

The fog this morning is making everything wet outside. Taking Bart for a walk was a real treat, and he is soaked to the skin. As a result of the fog and lowered visibility there is a ring around the moon which has been known to portend some inclement weather. The clouds to our west, as well, seem to indicate the same thing. Only time will tell if there will be any precipitation, and it will happen if and when the conditions are right, not on anyone's say-so.
I have included updates of the two areas that I have been following for color. You will note that in the northwesterly view the leaves are basically drying up and falling off the tree, and that seems to be happening to a lot of the trees around the area. In the easterly view there seems to be some color in the background, but it is not as vivid as I have seen in previous years.
Based on current weather conditions I do not believe that there will be a bike ride today, but I have plenty to do. I still have some things to do in the barn, as well as another cottage cheese, not to mention stringing some more chili peppers, if I can get to them before the precipitation starts.
