The predominant feature today was the wind. This morning it looked like it was going to rain, and it did not. When I looked closely at my vehicle I could see spots of dust where we had had a sprinkle overnight, but there was not enough to measure.
By11:00 hours the clouds began to break up, the sky cleared and the wind took over center stage. We went for a 16 mile bike ride and going out was nice with a major tailwind that I would estimate at around 20 m.p.h. On the way back we were headed into the teeth of that wind and it was not so pleasant.
