Clear, Light Breeze and Little Dew

Last night we had a star studded clear sky, and as a result the temperature dropped to around 40 degrees. There was not much dew this morning because of the wind and low dew point. In fact if we had had dew it would have been frost with the dew point at around 26 degrees.
Today we have bright sun, clear skies and cool temperatures; although with the bright sun I would expect the temperatures to rebound nicely. That should make it a good day to be outside cleaning up gardens, picking grapes and preparing our yards for what will inevitably come. I for one will be picking grapes from my grape arbor to try to make what I can from what I get. This will be my first attempt at preserving grape juice for the future.
I noticed again yesterday as well as this morning that the colors have not changed as dramatically as they might. Some of the trees, particularly the Maples, have leaves drying and falling off without changing color to anything but brown. I certainly hope that will change, and the colors will improve.
