Overcast, Breezy and Humid

This morning we had Mare's Tails and Mackerel Scales, and this afternoon we have an overcast that is threatening to make us wet. Well, score one for the Old Saw (maybe). After a year of keeping records I will take a look at that one too, since I have kept that information. It is almost sunset and I see no red sky as a result of the overcast. So there is no sailor's delight since there is no red sky tonight.
It was too warm for a wind chill and too cool for a heat index today. I don't believe that we will have a frost overnight either, since we have quite a blanket of clouds to hold in the heat from this morning's sunshine. I spent most of my day inside working on preserving my extracted grape juice, and checking on the availability of some ingredients for preserving grains such as barley.
I did take a look at a couple of weather web-sites, and they are predicting a rainy day tomorrow, but there is plenty to do, so I will not worry about that, and I will begin to look at some of my winter projects, such as caning chairs and such. I also have some other indoor projects to look after
