September Summary

The weather for September was not at all bad. It certainly has started to cool down from the heat and humidity of July and August. I have not checked on any of the weather web sites, so I do not know what the average rainfall is, but it has been a dry month, at least that has been my impression. We did have the remnants of Katrina and Rita go through, but they gave us no trouble, and not a lot of rain in this area. In fact the rain we had on Thursday was more torrential, and left us with more branches down than either of the hurricane remnants.
Here is the summary of data for the month of September:
Average Low Temperature: 52.2
Max Low Temperature: 64.8
Min Low Temperature: 36.9
Average High Temperature: 72.1
Max High Temperature: 81.2
Min High Temperature: 56.9
Overall Average: 62.1
Foggy Mornings: 15 (Number of Significant Snowstorms?)
Mostly Cloudy or Overcast Mornings: 14
Mostly Cloudy or Overcast Afternoons: 10
Rainy Days: 8
Total Precipitation: 2.3 inches
Weather Stick Down: 25 Mornings
