There was a very heavy dew this morning leaving a coating of moisture on everything that is not under cover. By the time I took the readings the temperature was already up to 42.3, so there is some warmer air moving into the region under the blanket of clouds. Bart and I will get in another 4 mile walk this morning before I get to work around here. I am going to need to mow the lawn once more before the end of the season, and this time it will need to be swept to get the leaves up, since most of them are now on the ground. So much for the great fall foliage around here, it just did not happen. What color there was was muted, and the leaves fell before they could develop their color completely.
