Overcast and Raw

The temperature rose a little more than 15 degrees today and with the humidity and overcast it has been a dismal raw day. Even though there has been very little wind it has felt much colder than the high of 54.8 or the current 52.2. The walk this morning was nice. Obviously with the cool weather it was necessary to layer a bit with the clothing. With great remorse I have raised the temperature in the house to 60 degrees just to take the dampness out of the air and the edge off the chill.
I do not know about anyone else, but we still have not had a frost here, but I would not expect that to last much longer. This will also be the last of the photographs of the two areas that I have been following. As you can see most of the leaves are down, and the ones that are left are not very brightly colored. Well, maybe next year they will be better.
