Getting Cooler

The combination of the wind and the overcast has kept the frost at bay for one more night. The way it looks right now we will not escape tonight. The prognosticators are saying that it will clear later today, and again the combination of the clouds most of the day and clearing in the afternoon will allow for temperatures to be held down during the day and radiational cooling overnight permitting frost to form. Say goodbye to your gardens until next year.
I should also note that there was no dew on the grass this morning, so Bart stayed dry during his morning constitutional.
