Approaching Cold 10/21 (PM)

I did not get the afternoon report into the computer, but I did have the data, so for those who are interested here goes. The wind did pick up during the day, but again died off as dusk approached. The sky was clear and star studded as the evening started. By the time I took the data the temperature had already fallen to 35.1 from its high of 50.4. This was a brisk day for sure. My bet is that if you have any portions of your garden left that this will be the swan song. We can all start again along around April or May of next year. There are 2 exceptions. The first is garlic which can be planted any time now for harvest next summer. The second are peas which I have planted around this time and had excellent success with an early crop, and then been able to plant a second time after the first crop is done and gotten an even bigger second crop. Good Luck with that.
