Frozen

Well, as I predicted (and so did the prognosticators) we have now had our killing frost (black frost, freeze). The next warm spell will be our Indian Summer, however short that will be. If you have not harvested it, with the exception of some of the winter squashes, parsnips, and maybe the pumpkins it is now history. As I recall when the winter squashes and pumpkins get touched by a frost they will last longer into the winter, but they need to be kept in a cool place for storage.
