Frosty and Clear

With all the overcast yesterday afternoon this morning has dawned clear and bright. It was cold (22.1 degrees) and has warmed up to 28.1 already (09:00). The animals stayed out of trouble yesterday since they got into some new browse. When they get bored they get into trouble. Gee, that sounds familiar. They will get to go out to the "new" area again today. The pasture they have been working on is pictured below, and if it is compared with what they started with they have done a magnificent job of reclamation. (I found the comparison and it is pictured below the current situation)
The gardens (except those in greenhouses) are now history. 22.1 degrees is just to low for any garden plants to survive outside. Garlic and peas probably need to be planted very soon if we are going to have an early crop next year. We need a couple of dry and not very cold days in order to accomplish that since the garden needs a final tilling and preparation to receive the seeds and garlic cloves.
