Cold and Frosty

This morning there is frost on the grass that is visible, and it has just gone above freezing at 34 degrees. The animals will go out, but they will also get some hay outside since the nutritional value of the browse is down to almost nothing.
It is another pretty morning with bright sunshine and little if any wind. I hope to be able to find some mulch hay so I can mulch the peas and garlic. I did note that the ground is beginning to freeze, and that may cause some problems. If I get things mulched soon they should be all right. I am trying a new source (to me) for my garlic, and I will let you know next August how their product performs. By June of next year I will also let you know how the fall planting of the peas worked out.
