Colder Still

The temperature is the predominant feature this morning. From a low of 16.2 it is already over 22 degrees just before 09:00 hours. The fact that it is overcast with a barometric pressure over 30 inches of Hg is confusing since a high barometer is usually associated with fair weather. If any of you were outside last evening you would have been stricken by the size of the ring around the moon. That along with the high thin cirrus clouds (mare's tails and mackerel scales) all seems to point to some heavy weather today or tomorrow. As confusing as this is Mother Nature has her own agenda.
