Bright but Filtered Sun

It is now afternoon and the sky has turned overcast with filtered sun. The temperature is in the forties, but it does not feel warm. We seem to be on a see-saw with regard to this weather. It is definitely autumn, a season of change and unsettled weather. It is difficult to know how to dress and be comfortable. It is also difficult to work outside since the ground is so wet, and has not frozen enough to support my weight in the garden. I guess I will just have to keep trying until everything comes together as it will eventually.
