Clearing and Windy

The rain has ended here for now. There was no frost on the grass, but the puddles have formed a skin of ice on them. The barometer is on the way up from its low of yesterday. The temperature is down almost 10 degrees from its low of yesterday. I would guess that winter is knocking on our door. I looked at some forecasts yesterday, and they are all calling for a decent day today with snow for tomorrow. I have yet to see a prediction of an amount, but I would guess that we will get all of it right down to the last flake. I have heard this morning (but that was from Portland) that it will change to rain and possibly back to snow at the end of the event. It depends on which side of the front we will be on whether it will be rain or snow.
Addendum:
The clearing skies left us, to be taken over by overcast. So far since it has gotten light enough to see it has been snowing lightly. The roads were covered for a while, but now are just wet. There is about a quarter of an inch on the ground, but the ground is covered. The prognosticators blew this one. We have seen no sun, nor has it warmed up above freezing so far today. For those who wanted a white Thanksgiving you have it if you live in the Wilton area.
