Cold, Angry Wind with Fangs

The combination of the cold and wind had more than teeth in it. The fangs were bared and very sharp. I took a ride to Augusta and when we got out of our vehicle into the parking lot I thought the wind was going to rip my ears off. I wore a gator when I did chores, but left it home while riding. I very definitely wished that I had it when I got out of the vehicle. There was plenty of sun all day, but that did not warm it up all that much. The 20 degree rise in temperature did not feel at all like 20 degrees because of the very brisk northeast wind. As I noted this morning this is weather I would associate with January or February not mid-December. Oh well, we must take and deal with what we get.
