Getting Warmer

The temperature has already gone up almost 7 degrees since the overnight low of 1.6. I think my thermometer is possessed, although it may be real. It was still a colder low than yesterday despite what the prognosticators said. It was not supposed to be as cold last night as it was the night before. Oh, that was in Portland and Bangor not the interior of the state.
Needless to say I will not be working out in the barn this morning after the chores are done. The animals on the other hand will be going out. The sheep have woolly coats and the goats have a very good undercoat, and they don't seem to mind the cold, although they do seem to enjoy coming in at the end of the day.
