Overcast with Fog

When I looked out of my North window I thought it was raining at first. It was not, rather it was the snow melting and dripping off the carriage house roof. In fact it will probably slide off fairly soon. It has stayed above freezing almost all day which has been good for the holiday travelers. I do not believe that it has gotten as warm here as they were predicting for the Portland and coastal areas. Once again we are having weather which is not the norm for the time of year, but we will just have to accept what we get.
It is a tradition in my family to decorate our Christmas Tree on the night before Christmas, and that will be done again this year. We are also wrapping gifts in preparation for Christmas morning. Our children are grown, but still the traditions continue.
