Rain with Heavy Fog
Well, the fog really isn't heavy, but it is very thick. Visibility on the roads is horrible. The rain is staying ahead of the intermittent wipers which is not helping the visibility either. Right now it is raining at 0.12 inches per hour, and that is heavy. My weather station is going to need to be returned since the wind parameters are not operational. They say it will be about 3 weeks before I get the replacement, so for the next three weeks I will need to rely on my analog devices. It was nice not to have to calculate the dew point or windchill, and to have all the parameters right in front of me. Oh well, we can't have everything can we? We have made do for the last 7 months, another month won't be a problem.
