Heavy, Heavy Rain

It has continued to rain all day long. Fog rolled into the area about 11:00. During the early afternoon the wind began to blow. There was one gust that was so strong that my anemometer did not even register and it went off line which means it was over 111mph. Other than that our maximum wind gust was over 37mph. So far for the entire storm we have had 0.65 in. of rain.
Both of my weather indicators on my electronic instruments are showing inclement weather. I must agree with them. The 20 foot mast for my wind sensor has held up very well. I guess my weather station can now be considered fully operational. Getting it up and running has been a challenge, but overall I think it was worth it.
