Cold, Bright and Beautiful

I should have noted that last night we lost power for about 2 hours due to a tree falling on the wires across from the house. That gave us a bit of excitement here in the neighborhood. One of the reasons was that it happened just as I was entering my data into the database. Then this morning around 07:10 hours we had a wind gust of 57.2 m.p.h. which shook the house a bit. Late this afternoon we had some high thin cirrus clouds move into the area. The temperature rose above freezing, but just above. The winds have remained light and variable, so overall it has been a pretty delightful mid-winter day.
