Filtered Moonlight

The sheets of altostratus clouds have moved in overnight leaving us with filtered moonlight this morning. In my headlamp it appeared that there were some snowflakes falling, but I could not be quite sure. The winds were calm overnight and still are. Both of my electronic weather instruments are calling for the weather to deteriorate today, and my preliminary observation seems to confirm that with a falling barometer, which is down from 30.33 last night at just before 19:00 hours. The only indicator which seems confused is the weather stick which is straight out, but that may indicate a change. We will see what this afternoon brings.
