Clear, Star Studded Sky
The sky this evening is absolutely beautiful, it is virtually cloudless and the stars look like pinpoints of light through black velvet. The temperature has already fallen ten degrees since our high of nearly 40 this afternoon. I expect the temperature to fall significantly more as a result of radiational cooling. This will be very similar to last night I would suspect. The wind has been much more active today than it was yesterday. The direction has varied from south to west. The wind speed has been equally variable ranging from calm to nearly 7mph. Once again, the weather stick is the only indicator that appears to be confused; it is pointed up, while my other indicators are pointed down indicating deteriorating weather. I wonder what that means?
