Warm, I Guess!
Last night's temperature of 28.9° was our low for the evening. Apparently we had some clouds move in overnight which stopped the radiational cooling. Wasn't I surprised to see the temperature in the low forties , when I got up this morning . When I started this it was mostly cloudy but it seems to be becoming overcast .
Once again I can do no better than the prognosticators in getting it right . I would have expected snow today, but with temperatures over 40° I would expect rain . All I can say is this is very strange.
Three of my four indicators , the two electronic instruments and a red sky all indicate deteriorating weather , the weather stick is still confused because it is pointed up. It seems that this is going to be another strange day in a winter of strange days .
