January Summary

This has been, as has been noted, a very strange month for weather. Our minimum low temperature was 2.3°, while our minimum high temperature was 14.4°. Our highest low temperature was 31.8° on January 12th and the maximum high for the month was 53.4° on January 21st. The barometer reached a maximum of 30.35 in. Hg and a minimum of 29.00 in. Hg. It would be accurate to say this was a month of extremes. We had around 20 inches of snow and rain of over 2.3 inches for a total precipitation of 4.34 inches.
