Snow's Over

While New York and Boston were being buried under as much as 2ft. of snow, we escaped with barely a half an inch. The most wind we had was a gust of almost 11mph at around 1800 hours yesterday afternoon. The prediction of snowfall for this area was in the three to 6in. range, and obviously, we did not even get close to that. Fortunately, the temperature has remained in the teens and single digits, which will allow the ski areas to continue to make snow. When I started this the sky was mostly clear, but now it appears to be mostly cloudy. Both of my electronic instruments are indicating improving weather. These clouds may just be the remnants of yesterday's storm. I guess we will see what happens later.
