Rain in the Offing?

Although the indicators on my electronic instruments are calling for continued fair weather, the sky and the weather stick are saying something else. With the temperature at 30.3°, I suspect any precipitation will not be snow. Once again, we are on the wild weather rollercoaster.
I have just looked at the regional radar, and it appears that there is a large mass of moisture headed our way from Toronto down into Virginia. It appears that this storm, as many of them have this winter, will be somewhat west of us putting us on the warm side of it. This will probably result in rain rather than frozen precipitation. The weather prognosticators are calling for the temperature to take a nosedive after the storm passes. They are calling for us to have our first serious sub-zero temperatures of the season. The one thing we can be thankful for is that it is late in the season, and should not last very long.
