Snow Disappearing

The snowpack has been reduced even more overnight. The temperature only got to about 30° which was not cold enough to freeze what little snow was left on the lawn. We still have had no rain despite the threatening clouds. Both of he electronic instruments are calling for deteriorating weather. The weather stick, on the other hand, is not sure what it is going to do. The weather forecasters are now saying that the storm will start sometime this afternoon. Further, they are saying that it will only last for a few hours. We will know that it is over when the wind shifts to the west, becomes much stronger and the temperature goes well below freezing. No matter what, this is going to be a wild ride
