A Prophecy Fulfilled

It has been snowing lightly since about 10:00 this morning. We have had virtually no accumulation of snow. There is almost enough to see on the ground. Currently, the predominant feature is the fog.
The temperature has once again gone above freezing. This is actually great weather for collecting sap from the maple trees. It goes below freezing at night and warms up to a little above freezing during the day. The people who make maple syrup from that sap should be having a banner year. If there is a maple syrup producer reading this blog I would appreciate it if you would let me know how this season is going.
My three weather indicators are, for a change, in agreement. They are all indicating deteriorating weather. Even the prophecy of this morning's red sky has been fulfilled.
