We Had Snow

Overnight we did have snow. There was not much, a little less than a half inch. It has also remained cold. At least the sun is up and out, which should help to warm things up a little bit. It is obvious; we are in the grip of an arctic cold front.
With the sky as clear as it is, and with the sun out it is very puzzling why both of my electronic instruments are indicating deteriorating weather. There has been no significant decrease in the barometric pressure to warrant that tendency. Since I started this commentary, the temperature has gone up 2° to 7.7°. Further, the wind has begun to blow at 1.1mph. That ought to make it feel a little cooler
Low Temperature: 3.7°
Barometric Pressure (in.Hg): 29.87
Relative Humidity: 57%
Dew Point: -6.5°
Wind Direction: West
Wind Speed (mph): 1.1
Wind Chill: 7.7°
Precipitation: Snow
Amount (inches) : <0.50
Current temperature: 7.7°
