Arctic Blast

This is truly a blast of arctic air. By the time we went outside, my Min/Max thermometer was registering a -2.2°F. That sensor is in a small cul de sac of the house where there is no air movement. The other sensor is in a very open field where there is a lot of air movement, and it recorded a low of -0.5°F. It is now 6:00 and the temperature has begun to rise.
The prognosticators are saying, "It will be clear this morning.” I think they need to look out the window because right now, it is partly cloudy, and the clouds look like they are moving in from both the east and the west. At least they are on both horizons. This confirms both of my electronic instruments indicating deteriorating weather.
