And the Rains Came

It took until after 14:00 hours, but the rain has finally arrived. All the weather indicators are now in agreement with the red sky this morning. This really was a storm warning. The water coming off my carriagehouse roof looks like a waterfall, and a pretty good cataract at that. There is no wind so the rain is falling straight down. I am a little disappointed that it is not snow, but this would be one heck of a snowstorm if it were.
Looking toward the future, we only have 19 days to wait before the start of open water fishing. I'm looking forward to it. Can you tell? It is also interesting that it is possible to write a great deal more about inclement weather than about bright sunny "good" weather. It is funny how the mind works, isn't it?
