Rain Yielding to Sun

The sky currently is partly cloudy, but the rain has stopped. In fact, it stopped right around noon. All three of the weather indicators are still calling for inclement weather. The sun seems to be singing a different tune , however. It seems to be breaking through the clouds and brightening everything up. I still cannot get over the temperature in the fifties though. When I have taken Bart for our little walks I have been noticing that some of the grass is beginning to have some green leaves. I still have not gone out to the garden to see if any of the peas or the garlic have started to grow. If things dry out a bit, and we don't have a half foot of snow I will do that by the weekend. It certainly appears to be getting muddy on the driveway and the lawn, so I can just imagine what the garden is like.
