A Little Snow

There was a little snow shower last evening before 22:00 hours. It left just a dusting on the ground and at the edge of the road. By this morning, except in very protected areas, it was all gone. Sometime after 22:00 hours also the temperature dipped below the freezing mark. When I was out at 05:15 this morning the sun was just beginning to throw some red rays over the eastern horizon. There were almost no clouds, and the full moon going down was beautiful. Despite the three weather indicators it appears that today will be a pretty day, although a bit cooler than it has been. All three, by the way, are showing fluctuating weather with a tendency to improve.
Just to show you where we are in the seasons Gifford's Ice Cream Shop opens on Friday in Farmington, and I would guess at their other locations as well. That is a sure harbinger of the changing seasons.
