Another Red Sky

The way that the cumulus clouds rolled in yesterday afternoon I would have expected to see some precipitation this morning, but such was not the case. There were just a few clouds on the horizon, and the morning star in the east was bright. There is a definite chill in the air again, with the temperature in the low teens. That is right where the National Weather Service predicted it would be.
This morning the weather stick is pointed slightly up indicating fluctuating weather conditions with a slight tendency to improve. This is in conflict with my two electronic weather stations which are calling for fluctuating weather conditions with a tendency to deteriorate. The red sky this morning leads me to suggest that the weather stick just might not have it right. We may yet be in for some inclement weather during the next 24 hours.
