Lots of Clouds, but Warm
The temperature has gone over the 50° mark for the first time since early this month. It seems that the extreme cold we have been experiencing has finally broken. The goats have been enjoying being out in the lower field nibbling on whatever they can find. It was such a delightful day that I was able to get into the barn and start cleaning stalls. The first one is done, and its contents are now compost. Depending on the weather, the next stall may be done tomorrow. This seems a bit early to be starting this, but maybe we will have a slightly longer growing season this year.
Today the three weather indicators have it right, sunny weather with improvement. I am not sure how much more improvement we can stand, but a few less clouds might be a good start. I am not complaining, just commenting and observing. Now that I have said that, the clouds are getting thicker. A few more days like this and I will have the barn totally clean and start on finding places for much of the "stuff" that has been stored in the barn for the past several years. What a project that will be!
