Overcast & a Little Below Freezing
Unlike yesterday, the temperature has dipped a little below freezing. There is no wind at this point, and both the barometric pressure and relative humidity are quite high. Combine all this with the overcast sky, and it is difficult to tell what the weather is going to do. From the reports I have heard and read this will not be the pick of the weekend. Tomorrow is supposed to better than
today, and that should bode well for the celebration of Maine Maple Sunday. Here in Wilton there is a hunting and fishing expo at
the Nichols Exposition Center (the old Bass shoe factory). I will probably go over there later.
The weather instruments are in total disagreement with the Min/Max Thermometer saying rain and deteriorating and the Weather Station saying sunny and improving. The weather stick is saying unsettled since it is straight out. I think I will go with the weather stick for today, since I cannot figure it out from the signs I see outside.
