Another Dismal Day

With the overcast, even though the temperature approached 50°F it was not a pleasant day. I did the morning chores, went to the transfer station and then went to the hunting and fishing expo in Wilton. Last year there were several fly tyers there. This year there were none. I saw two spinning lure manufacturers, and while I do admit to spin casting at times, I prefer fly-fishing. Many of the other exhibitors were outfitters and guides that wanted us to go to their states or provinces to hunt and fish. To be honest I learned more at the L.L. Bean Fishing Expo last week than I did at this one and that one was "free" except for the gas to get there. Sorry Folks!
Back to reality, the weather stick is up, calling for improving weather. The other indicators are calling for cloudy or unsettled weather with a tendency to deteriorate. I do hope it gets it out of its system overnight, and we have a nice day for Maine Maple Sunday.
