A Blanket of Clouds

Once again we are greeted by a blanket of clouds cast over us. As a result we are warmer at 05:30 than we were yesterday at the same time. It did get a little colder overnight tonight though, and that is probably because it did not get as warm yesterday as it did the day before. The air pressure is not as high as it was yesterday, so I suspect that we have a slightly different air mass over us than we did yesterday. As the sun is rising some of the clouds appear to be dissipating in the east. That may bode well for the upcoming day, particularly since the sky is not red.
That leads me to my indicators. The weather stick is straight out calling for a change in the weather. The electronic instruments are calling for deteriorating weather with clouds and/or rain. I am still not sure who to believe, the sky, which seems to be clearing, or the instruments and their prognostication. I see the sun and the clearing skies, so I am going to stick my neck out and say that it looks like it is going to be a fairly nice day. Oh, by the way the temperature is already above freezing.
