Warm, Windy & Cloudy

Despite the NOAA weather report and the electronic instruments predictions the weather stick has won this round. It has not been a perfect day, but it has not been a bad day either. As the sun rose this morning the clouds dissipated. By noon some nimbostratus clouds had started to move back in, but there were still some breaks in the clouds. Right now (14:15 hours) we are back to being overcast, but it is still pleasantly warm. With all the clouds around we still have not had any precipitation.
We did visit a couple of places where they were celebrating Maine Maple Sunday. The one we visited in Weld was the more traditional, and more pleasant. Their equipment was quite new and up to date, and their syrup was very good. The other one was more interested in selling meals than informing the public about the making of Maple Syrup.
