Clouds Clearing Out

There were just a few clouds on the eastern horizon this morning. The full moon in the west was gorgeous, big, round and yellow. For some reason, at 36 degrees, it was warm enough to take Bart for his morning walk without a jacket or gloves. The buds on the apple trees and maple trees are beginning to expand like it is spring, and I guess maybe it is. Last night as I drove home I heard "peeper" frogs singing along McCrillis Corner Road. It was not a chorus as one can hear as the weather warms, but there were a few.
The electronic weather instruments are indicating mixed weather with a tendency to improve. The weather stick is straight, and indicating a change. I guess that improving weather is the order of the day, and that is all right. We still could use a bit of rain to moisten the left over vegetation from last fall, but we will get what we will get.
