Fire Danger Relief?
This is the weekend, so there must be inclement weather. That certainly is the way it seems. It is not raining here yet, but the sky is overcast, the barometer is down and the relative humidity is up. It did not freeze last night, and the temperature is already on the rise, therefore any precipitation that falls will be as rain. I have taken a look at the composite radar, and there is rain at the boundary between Vermont and New Hampshire that appears to be moving our way for later this morning. It is moving quickly, so it may not take long to get here.
All the electronic instruments are predicting deteriorating conditions and rain this morning. The weather stick is almost straight with a slight downward bend, so it is predicting a change with deteriorating conditions as well. We need the rain, so I am going to be hopeful that all these prognosticators are correct.
